After our sad experience at Hideout, we went to Mittens Brewing. We caught them before closing. This was a really nice place, relaxed, decent amount of tables, small bar. Unfortunately not much in the merchandise category...great (but expensive) stickers.
-We ordered a great pizza that really tasty.
-As for the beer we did a sampler. Eighty Four Double IPA was malty but not bad, Honey Wheat was okay, Triple Crown brown not bad, Peanut and Cracker Jack porter can taste the cracker jack not bad, Scottish Ale not bad, and Death to Flying Things was very strong and tasty.
-Not much else to say here, the beer wasn't anything special, pizza was good, nice scenery and a place worth checking out if you're in the area. The bartender was also very talkative and a really nice guy. Check them out..
